Jerry L Hearn

Jerry L. Hearn, Sr. was born December 30, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the youngest of nine children born to the union of Alice and William A. Hearn, Sr.

He was educated in the Detroit Public School system, graduating from Central High School in 1973.

Jerry was retired. He enjoyed spending time with his family, entertainment and fashion. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Jerry departed this life Sunday January 19, 2025, in Flat Rock, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and William Hearn, Sr., three siblings, and great grand daughter Ariah Nelson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children LaTiska D. Hearn, Jerry Hearn, Jr., Jerry Ayers and Kiyann McCants. Grandchildren Tramine, Maurice-Elijah Nelson, Isis R. Stevens, Janessa Ayers and Dameya Elliott. Great grandchildren Londyn Ayers, Ezra Boston and Aubrielle Nelson. Siblings William A. Hearn, William A. Hearn II, Joseph Sidney Hearn, Gloria Hearn-Dexter and Ella Mae Christian. Ex-wife Stephanie J. Wilson-Hearn. Brother-in-law Walter Dexter. Daughter-in-law Charese Ayers. Great daughter-in-law Brianna Nelson. Nieces Kim Dexter, Tameka Dexter, Janea Merriweather, Kia Batey and Kyra Batey. Nephews William Hearn Ill, Durell and Markell Carruthers and Corey A. Watson. Great Niece Unity Hearn and Great Nephew Dorian Merriweather II.
